Mutiple people Body Temperature Screening System Single people Body Temperature Screening SystemOverview: This article will introduce the process of setting up a Foscam HD camera to automatically record at specified times. This process is referred to as Schedule Recording on the Foscam device. The video files can be stored on a SD card installed in the camera or to a FTP server. (The SD card option is not supported on all Foscam cameras. Check to see if your model is supported.)
Method 1: Schedule Recordings saved to FTP Server/Service.
Step 1: Login to the camera using Foscam VMS to access the GUI interface. Navigate to Record → Storage Location.
Step 2: Choose FTP as the Storage Location and click Save
On Foscam VMS:
On PC browser:
Step 3: Configure the Schedule Recordings to FTP by navigating to Record → Schedule Recording.
1)Check the checkbox for Enable Schedule Recordings
2)Choose Main Stream or Sub stream to record to the video file.
3)Edit the timeframe for the scheduled recording to occur.
Note: The timeframe is indicated in the red colored blocks.
4)Click Save to save the configuration to the camera.
On Foscam VMS:
On PC browser:
Method 2: Schedule recordings to save to the SD card installed in the camera.
Step 1: Login to the camera using Foscam VMS to access the GUI interface. Navigate to Record → Storage Location.
Step 2: Choose SD Card as the Storage Location and click Save.
On VMS:
On PC browser:
Step 3: Configure the Schedule Recordings to the SD card by navigating to Record → Schedule Recording.
1)Check the checkbox to Enable Schedule Recording
2)Choose the Yes option to Enable Long-time recording
3)Revise the default Frame Rate to the desired setting 1-24.
4)Choose the Option to Stop or Cover for the Record Full condition.
5)Click the Save button to save this configuration to the camera.
Note: Record Full condition “strategy:”
On Foscam VMS:
On PC browser:
Stop: When the SD card storage capacity has less than 256 megabytes of storage remaining no additional recordings will be stored on the SD card.
Cover: When the SD card storage capacity has less than 256 megabytes of storage remaining the oldest recordings will be overwritten by the camera and recording will continue. The oldest recordings will continue to be overwritten by newer ones until the process is interrupted by the user.
