A:No, the floodlight camera is a hard-wired device which connects to 110-240VAC outdoor wiring.
Q:What’s the installation requirement of the floodlight camera?
A:For North America region, the floodlight camera requires user has existing outdoor weatherproof electrical box (junction box) and outdoor wiring. For other regions, the floodlight camera requires user install the outdoor weatherproof electrical box (junction box) and outdoor wiring. Besides, the floodlight camera requires wireless network with 2Mbps or above internet upload speed.

Q:Any tips when I install the camera?
A:It is recommended to install the camera 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) above the ground and Bend down 25°. This height maximizes the detection range of the PIR motion sensor.

A:Yes, this Floodlight camera features two-way audio capability, which means you can listen and talk to someone in real time with simple clicks in App.
Q:What is the PIR sensor?
A:PIR sensor (full form: passive infrared sensor) is used to detect the motion. It receives and detects infrared radiation from the surrounding. When the differences of radiation are identified, the camera triggers motion alerts. As PIR sensors are more sensitive to infrared radiations from humans or animals, this camera can dramatically reduce false alarms caused by fluttering moths or flying twigs.
