What bandwidth does the Foscam camera antenna support?
Most of Foscam cameras and their corresponding antenna support the 2.4 GHz band. But some Foscam cameras like Z2 and R4S support dual band 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz wireless.
What is the camera antenna’s gain?
The antenna gain of most Foscam cameras is 2 dBi except for the FI9805 which uses a 5 dBi gain antenna.
Normally a 5 dBi or 9 dBI antenna can be used with our cameras to increase the gain. These are available at various electronic retailers.
What is the interface specifications on the connectors of the antenna and camera?
The interface connector on the camera is a SMA-K male without a center pin. The interface connector on the antenna is a SMA-J female with pin.
